Fall is our favorite season here at the Gallery. It offers crisp, fresh air, beautifully vibrant colors, pumpkin pie, hot cocoa, and the smell of wood-burning stoves.
Like the flow of summer into fall, art, too, has seasons. Artist find new inspiration to usher in a new series, or a season in their life. Their minds always growing and improving, reflecting their life experiences onto the canvas.
We all have seasons in our life. Seasons of happiness or seasons of sadness, and in each moment there is beauty. Either enjoyment of the moment or the hope of tomorrow. And in art, these seasons are reflected. Through the skilled hand of an artist, we can find ourselves reflected in the paintings.
As we enter this season of celebration, take the time to enjoy the moment. Feel the breeze on your face, the sun on your shoulders, and the smell of the air. Take the time to love those close to you. Thanksgiving is next month and it's never too early to tell the ones you love how thankful you are to know them. This is a time to give to those who gave to you.
Art is a gift that ebbs and flows like the changing of seasons. Through it, we share ourselves to our audience. And in turn, the audience finds themselves in our paintings. Art and life are two beautiful things, and both are filled with reasons to be thankful. In these stressful months, as the future of our country is being decided, pause and reflect on the beauty of art and the love of those around you. Tell them you love them. Get lost in a painting. Find joy in the season of celebration.
