Christiane has now opened a new addition to Christiane David Gallery. Please come and visit us two stores down at Christiane A Paris. We are anticipating the arrival of artist and designer Joelle Warnez. Joelle will be presenting a line of European style clothing to fit different forms of women. This line of clothing will be different then the conventional ones that we find in the department stores. Clothing that are classic but that are easy to wear with an artistic flair.

First Fridays

First Fridays are a great time to experience downtown Lancaster! Christiane David Gallery has live music and some snacks to help you on your journey along with the thousands who enjoy the evening’s artistic energy and fun surprises that make each First Friday special.

Every First Friday we produce a special, signed and numbered, limited edition 8 x 10 print, which is available framed or unframed.

First Fridays occur on the first Friday evening of every month year round. Over 90 art galleries and shops extend their hours and stay open to 9:00 PM - some even later!

With a large number of galleries concentrated in Lancaster's charming downtown district, it is easy and fun to stroll the streets, browse the galleries, meet the artists, and purchase fine art to grace your home and office.

What happened to our window?

For new years eve '07 we decided it would be fun to let the good people of Lancaster create the artwork for a change. With the help of just about every color in Christiane’s acrylic palette and the creative imagination of anyone who wanted to participate, our window has turned into one of the brightest canvases we’ve seen in quite some time.

Lancaster ArtWalk

This year is the 24th anniversary of the Lancaster Spring ArtWalk. This fabulous celebration of the arts will be taking place the18th through 20th of April. Lancaster Spring ArtWalk 2008 will encompass a wide variety of arts at almost 50 venues including: art exhibits/demonstrations, children's and student's art, some musical performances and returning this year, a Kid's ArtWalk.

During ArtWalk, artists open their studios and galleries for the weekend and invite the public to stroll around Downtown Lancaster and visit with the artists. Area restaurants and shops will also open their doors with special exhibits.
